Volunteer Painting Week with UCD Overseas Volunteers
Every year volunteers travel from Ireland to repaint our campuses. A week of brushes, ladders and considerable mess β and a home transformed.
9:00 AM β 4:00 PM daily
Daddy's Home and Butterfly Hill Campuses
About this event
Volunteers from University College Dublin have travelled to Vijayawada to work on our campuses, and their help has changed the face of Daddyβs Home and Butterfly Hill.
Over a week they repaint corridors, classrooms, balconies and window frames, and help with the gardening and maintenance that our staff cannot always get to. The children work alongside them, and the week ends with both campuses looking fresh for the year ahead.
It is hard, cheerful work β and one of the clearest expressions of the word-of-mouth support that has carried Care & Share since 1991.
